Deleting personal docs

Hi,
I am having a problem deleting personal documents from the cloud. I go to Amazons website and pull up my documents in manage content and devices. I take the time to delete at least 200 documents only to have them show up again. I am getting frustrated. Every time i go to reset my voyage, stuff from as far back as 2014 shows up. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Delete from the cloud and the Voyage. Then sync.

Okay, I thought that deleting from the cloud and then resetting the voyage would clear the docs from coming back. Is there a way to delete from the voyage more than one doc at a time?

No there isn't. Personally I remove from device first, then delete on the Amazon website.

I would expect that deleting from the Amazon Manage Your Documents page should stop them from coming back again. It doesn't always sync that deletion down the the device itself, but f you are deleting from their website and then factory resetting e Kindle I would not expect to see those items again.

Is the Kindle definitely linked to the correct Amazon account?

It may not be the case here, but there is a flash memory hardware failure mode that sometimes occurs in kindles where the kindle will appear to work properly, but upon reboot the contents of the device will revert to an earlier state.

Personal documents deleted from Manage Your Contents and Devices are never deleted from the actual kindle they are downloaded to, they must be removed from the device manually. They have to be removed twice, once on the kindle and once on MYC&D.

It doesn't matter which order you do it in but it must be done twice.

I have definitely had personal docs deleted from my Kindle Voyage automatically after I deleted them from the MYC&D website.

They must have been in the cloud, shown under All, not downloaded. I have removed them from the kindle then watched them disappear one by one from my kindle as I've deleted them from MYC&D. They wouldn't disappear any other way.

No, these are books I had downloaded but not yet opened. Everything I email into the cloud gets auto delivered to this device. I have definitely had a MYCAD deletion propagate to my Voyage, but lets not argue.
