App for Android

Hi

I'm having a few issues with the Kobo app for Android.

First, there doesn't seem to be a away of agjusting the font (size or typeface), I touch the screen in the middle but non of the available options seem to relate. Second, some of the text is disappearing off the screen, as if the page boundary is outside of the screen.

Thanks
Neil

I don't generally use the app for reading, as I do most of my reading on my e-ink Kobo, but I do have it installed for easy shopping, so I opened it up.

For me, tapping the middle of the screen once in the book brings up several small gray icons in the lower right hand corner of the screen. They are arranged vertically, if I remember correctly, top is settings, then brightness, then font (Aa icon), then navigation and then a circle with a dot to turn the icons invisible again.

The icons were a gray color and smallish, so they didn't exactly jump off the page, but they were there. If you don't see them after knowing where to look, maybe try clearing the app cache and then uninstall/reinstall, reboot device?

I didn't notice any issues with page display in the single book I called up.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using the app on an Energy eReader Pro HD, the options I get when I touch the centre of the screen are different to what you're describing - I get three options arranged horizontally at the top of the screen, all related to navigating the book or the app. I've found how to adjust the font (I have to use the settings option that is part of the e-reader on screen options) but the choices given seem a lot less than what I get from the iOS version of the app. Also, I can't resolve the issue of the text not fitting to the screen, it's "chopping off" 4/5 letters of words on the right hand side of the screen.

Edit: I've just noticed the version of the app "varies with device", so perhaps this is an issue...

Thanks again
Neil
