Moving/Merging pubdate column with Tags

I'm unaware of an Android book reader that enables sorting/filtering according to pubdate. If one of the readers can do that, do tell.

I can sort/filter books in my Android reader (was Mantano now Bookari) on tags and series, but not pubdate. I therefore add the pubdate manually as a tag when exporting a group of books to my phone. I like to read books in the order they were written, so pubdate data become important to me if a group of books by a single author is not classified as a series.

Can a guru please tell me how (whether) I can merge my pubdate column with my tags column. I would also prefer to remove the month of publication for the purposes of the merge.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Although it is a library manager and not a reader app, Calibre Companion can do this. It can also launch a reader app on a selected book. You can try the free demo version to see if it solves your problem.
