Howdy, I am new to Mobileread, and am anxious to begin checking out the site! I love to read, and joined so I could read others reading goals for 2017.

I love reading almost anything. Historical fiction, especially WWI, has been one of my favorites this year. I will read any books I can get for free!
I love my Kindle but am somewhat with all the different types of them. Once I accidently dropped mine in the bathtub. I was able to dry it out and it still works, except for the battery monitor feature. I also have been unable to update it. I prefer using firefox browser, instead of Silk.

If you like historical fiction, have you read any of the Flashman series by Geaorge MacDonald Frasier? Very accurate accounts of Victorian era battles. Although technically they are fiction, they are very virtually non-fiction apart from the hilarious things Flashman gets up to.
