remote control / send tap
Hello all,
I'm trying to make a remote control for my Kobo H2O. For now, I installed a webportal mod for testing and want to use KOReader as my reader, because I want to use DJVu files (rally roadbook). I try to use the tip in the Kobo forum to catch taps on screen : Code:
cat /dev/input/event1 > /tmp/record.input Is there another way to do that, like a LUA script sending an event somewhere ? Thanks. Hien. |

The project at Github is good starting place. There are event handling scripts available in KOReader, as well as those defining touchscreen active areas. Some are included in the advanced settings and others remain in the appropriate script/LUA files.

Well, I already looked into the github repository and understand the logic to handle event received, but my problem is to emulate/send an event, as if the user was tapping somewhere, like
Code:
cat /tmp/record.input /dev/input/event1 |

I finally made it. It was quite simple in fact : I recorded the taps under nickel and replayed them under Koreader.
