Which color of led? green? blue? white?

easiest thing to do "Reseset to faktory"
Turn off, hold Menu button, press Reset knob, when LED turn orange, release Reset and Menu.
Led will flash white aprox 10min.
Of course then it need update Firmware and book load again...

Rewrite image to uSD which inside.
If not, then hardware problem.
First chack voltage on battery BEFORE charging attempts.
If it less than 3V battery is bad.
May be you can charge bat by short time but not resolve problem.

I did check the battery voltage, and it is showing 4.12 vol. I tried to write a new firmware, which I got from this site. I used Diskimager.exe, ver 0.9.5, to loaded it on a new Sd card, and nothing changed. I Also, tried to read the file on the SD card that came with my Kobo , but I can not see any thing on the card, using the same proggy. Can you help me out, or point me the direction where I can find what I need to get my Kobo working. Thanks.

I hope you have model N905C?
I have similar symptoms only for N905(A).
On N905C I inserted the SD even Kobo Glo. Loading, but the screen is stretched .
You can connect the USB-uart adapter (speed 11520) to pads J5 in right-down corner PCB to terminal (putty) and observe whether the output is available?
If you see output like
Code:
uBoot
File of internal uSD you can see under Linux.

Yes, mine is a N905C. So, if I understand I need to buy the USB-UART Adapter. And I guess that can be connected to the Kobo on the PCB. Sorry but I am not that smart. So, I ask you to explain thing to me in a more plain language. Thanks for the help.
