Issues with converted textbook on kindle touch
Hi, I'm a newbie,
So I purchased my biology textbook from amazon as an ebook and I had it converted on calibre to use it on my kindle touch to MOBI. My question is that after converting it some of the words are missing letter throughout it, in the text book it has definitions etc. on the margins and these have caused the pages corresponding on the converted version to become distorted and have sentences all mixed up. Is it possible to fix it or is the best that it will be. I'm new to all of this so I have no clue how to approach fixing it. Thanks |

is it a PDF? Read the sticky about PDFs at the top of ths section.
Missing letters? possibly were Ligatures (like: ffi) Textbooks are best left in native form as they usually have charts and tables that are easily mangledThere is another Kindle format (AZW4) that basically wraps a PDF in a Kindle compatible jacket that works with all but the oldest K's |
