Although you turned on the Automatic Book Update feature on Manage Your Content and Devices, we were unable to automatically deliver an updated version of your past Kindle purchase of WINDOWS 10: WINDOWS 10 COMPANION: THE COMPLETE GUIDE FOR DOING ANYTHING WITH WINDOWS 10 (WINDOWS 10, WINDOWS 10 FOR DUMMIES, WINDOWS 10 MANUAL, WINDOWS ... WINDOWS 10 GUIDE) (MICROSOFT OFFICE) by Joe Thompson for the following reason(s):

You initially received the wrong book, but the publisher has corrected the problem and we can now offer you the correct book. Because this is a different book, any bookmarks, notes, or highlights you have added will not be transferred to the new book.

You can get the updated version of this book by going to Manage Your Content and Devices. Find the book under Your Content tab, click on the "Update Available" button next to the book's title, and then follow the update prompts. All your devices that have the eBook currently downloaded will be updated automatically the next time they connect to wireless.

That's entirely normal. You'll get an email similar to this whenever there are significant changes in a book. Automatic updates only happen when it's a minor change that won't invalidate your bookmarks, annotations, etc.

I got the same email. I decided to check all my 1500 books (by scrolling through the entire library) and found another 5 more books that had updates due but not applied

I wish Amazon would notify us by email for every one, the system as it is just doesn't work.
