What can I do with my Touch 2.0?

I recently re-found my Touch 2.0 and wanted to use it again. However, I never really liked Kobo's software. I was wondering if there's any other software I can install on it? Something lighter and faster with no store. I note that the Kobo Touch's firmware is on 3.14.
