Proof by Jordyn Redwood is the 1st novel in her Bloodlines Trilogy of medical crime thrillers, this installment a forensic one where a physician attempts to gather sufficient proof to convict her rapist after DNA testing clears him as a suspect (incidentally, I'm just going to mention that DNA evidence or the lack thereof is not incontrovertible as TV shows would like you to believe, and is subject to contamination, misprocessing, false positives and negatives, etc., and it's a shoddy case which makes it the sole linchpin for evaluating a suspect and I certainly hope the author, whose bio-blurb says that she is an ER and ICU nurse, took that into account), free courtesy of Christian publisher Kregel.

This has previously been offered free in 2012. NB: apparently, this story is a heavily "inspirational" one which may contain conversion and hinted-miracle elements, according to the customer reviews. YMMV on whether you like that sort of thing.
