Cannot read 'working' book

I know that the file isn't corrupted because I tried it with an online browser reader and it worked, but Calibre's reader has trouble with it. Any ideas?

It is corrupted, either you are using a different file for your browser reader, or the browser reader is using a zip library that ignores/works around this particualr form of corruption.

Try unzipping the file (Epubs are actually zip files).

If that works, re-zip the contents and change the extension to epub. Temporarily add it to your library as a new book and try to read it. If it works, delete the temporary book then add the corrected epub to the existing book record.
