Installation error Ver. 2.70 on RaspBian

Dear,

I would like to ask for help, regarding installing the Linux version 2.70 on RaspBian Jessie w. Pixel.

I got the following error message during the installation process:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
File "<string>", line 673, in main
File "<string>", line 666, in run_installer
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 522, in call
return Popen(*popenargs, **kwargs).wait()
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 710, in __init__

File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 1335, in _execute_child
raise child_exception
OSError: [Errno 8] Exec format error

How can I fix it? Thanks a lot in advance ...

The calibre binary builds are for Intel processors, they dont work on ARM process like the Pi. For that you'd have to build from source. If you do a bit of googling you should find instructions from people that have managed this in the past.
