UNABLE TO INSTALL THE UPDATE ON MY KA1
I'm using mac osx and I cannot successfully run the update. I have unzipped the file and transferred the entire contents of the zip file into the device. When I unplugged the device does not detect any update.

I do not know what I'm doing wrong....I have tried to copy the entire folder Kobo-update-4.1.7729...I have also tried to copy only the individual files inside the folder...but not success... I even tried to copy the files in the device folder named Digital Editions...

Any suggestions will be appreciate it.

Did you copy it into the .kobo folder (not root folder)?

When i plug the device on my mac, i do not see any .kobo folder. Only folders with my books and a folder named digital editions. Maybe the folder is hidden and i need to setup something on my mac? Like show hidden files on windows?

You need to turn on showing of hidden files and directories in OS X. Here is a link to help you set OS X to do this.

For your knowledge, the dot on folder name (or file name) means that is hidden.

Other than the USB issue that's since been fixed, what seems to be the problem with Windows 10?

OS X is not all that better. I've read of problems with USB devices and software no longer working after a new OS X release.

So far the only real issue I still have with Windows 10 is having two SSDs in my laptop. If I remove the secondary and replace it with a mechanical HD, no issues. If both are installed, I get a hang every now and then and explorer restarts. Sadly since I need the speed to allow my VM collection to run, I have to live with the hangs.
