How to manage structure detection question

I find myself frequently deleting the "Detect Chapters" and "Insert page breaks before" on the Structure Detection tab as most frequently the books I'm converting are perfectly fine structure wise and I don't want to change the basic structure, just the output format.

I'm just wondering, to have Calibre totally ignore the Structure Detection portion is there something I missed that is easier than deleting the standard options? I have found if I don't delete the conditions I sometimes end up with author and title separated as class names, H1 and H2 tabs cause excessive page breaks.

Maybe a little check box to "ignore structure detection" or a delete contents button (kind of like the Restore Defaults button)??

Or am I just being too lazy lol.

Just turn them off in Preferences->Common Options then they will automatically be off for any new books.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess I keep on doing it the way I have been... I know I have too many things that I need to use the structure detection for to turn it off in preferences. I'd put it at about 50 - 50... and unfortunately the way I do things it isn't in batches lol.

Makes the select contents of input box, delete contents the best option. Still can't blame a person for wishing for a delete contents button or clear contents of all (kinda to go along with the restore defaults button)...
