2 kindle format books will not convert
Two kindle format books, AZW3, just will not convert to either mobi or epub. When I open jobs in right hand bottom corner, it shows status as "converting to HTML" and then it stalls at 1%, when I have repeatedly chosen output format epub or mobi not HTML

Is there something I should change?

Yes that may be so but even after over one hour there is no change and no conversion!

If it has not crashed... Let it run. Extremely complex converts can run for 24hrs

Or maybe you can try getting an ePub from using KindleUnpack.

If it seems to hang at 1%, try unchecking 'Ensure scene breaks are consistently formatted' in Heuristic Processing.

That seems to take an inordinate amount of time now and again. Trying KindleUnpack is a good tip too, as you come from an AZW3.
