Problem viewing azw3 book

Hi.

I've been having a weird problem viewing this ebook with the built-in calibre reader. This is the result

while it works flawlessy on the kindle reader

is there anyway I can fix this? Even going fullscreen mode doesnt help it. I've been trying to convert it to EPUB but it is stuck on 47% since hours, so I guess something is messed up in the original formating and I'd rather fix it manually.

It will be a fixed layout azw3, those are not supported by calibre.

damn, unlucky

Any way I could fix it with the calibre book editor? All the pages are styled as position:absolute, would changing this parameter help me?

You can try converting it to mobi (mobi has no support for fixed layout) so you might get something useful. If not, then you'd need to edit it, but the details of doing that vary from book to book.
