I' dont understand why it not exist a mod for read a book in inverse color... white on black...

You could try to run 'xcalib -i -a'.
https://packages.debian.org/jessie/a...calib/download may have a working binary.

I downloaded xcalib, then gave it this library that it needs https://packages.debian.org/jessie/a...86vm1/download

I get this when I try to alter the screen:

I'll look into it a little more, I hope we can do this!

Oh, so we have Linux commands which do not work properly ... messing around with this incomplete installation to get this running will cost some time.
I wish Amazon would release a proper Linux ... also their lab126 stuff would benefit if they would use Java 8.
