Conversion Output Profile for Kobo Aura HD
I'm wondering if it's time to have the conversion output profile updated in Calibre for Kobo to reflect the improved screen size of the Aura HD. The current profile for Kobo is at 536 x 710 pixels. The Aura HD is 1440 x 1080. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the point to the sizes, but is this something that's worth looking into?

Just use the Tablet profile, it should work fine with your Aura HD.

I want to revive this question please. When I want to convert epub into kepub with external plugin for Kobo Auro One, which it's resolution is 1,872 x 1,404 is not in the output profiles and I could not find a way to add it. Any ideas?

Yes. Change your calibre preferences.
Preferences - Change calibre behaviour - Conversion:Common Options - Page Setup - Output profile and select 'Tablet' at the bottom of the list.

This option makes no attempt to rescale images to fit a particular screensize during conversion.

ETA: For any book you reconvert, after having already converted it at least once, you may need to click the 'Restore Defaults' button on the first page of conversion settings so that this book will 'see' your updated Output profile.
