Can I search/replace a pdf and save like pdf again?

I have a book in pdf-format witch has some crap inserted at every page "go to www..."

If I use the convert option I can search and replace those texts so that they go away. My first choice was t cnvert the book to ebub and use it on my Kobo Glo HD but I got alot of mixed uppercase/lowercase characters and the layout was really bad after conversion. I then tried the same thing but changed the conversion options to pdf > pdf and used the tablet/input default options so that it would not be rescaled. But it was still rescaled in some way.

Is it possible to only change the metadata and search/replace some text and have it saved so it looks like the original pdf just without the crap text.

Where did you get this book? What you describe sounds like a Demo Version watermark.

MR does not allow helping with stuff obtained from the Dark Ne.
