How to Sync Two Calibre Libraries

I have Calibre on my MacBook and my Mac Pro. I work on both with ebooks. I would like to keep the libraries of both synchronized. Unfortunately I already have two libraries, one for each Calibre on each computer.

I have been manually copying my Calibre library from each device and then "merging" it with a copy of the Calibre library in the iCloud. This is tiresome.

How can I get Calibre (on each computer) to look to my iCloud for the Calibre library? Thus, when I work on Calibre on one computer, the results will also show up in Calibre on the other computer.

I just set it up to sync my Calibre library stored locally on my MacBook to my raid 1 NAS – so I have three copies now.

As the saying goes:
3 is 2, 2 is 1, 1 is none
