Save Cover to...

Dear Chaley,

I'm trying to use the cover of current book as Lockscreen Wallpaper. I'm using AOSP rom, so the file name should be keyguard_wallpaper (no extension) and it should be saved in /data/system/users/0

So I use the "Save Cover" feature, but it doesn't allow me to navigate to that folder path (my phone is rooted, and I tested with Solid Explorer to give it a customized lockscreen wallpaper), CC doesn't call supersu to ask for permission; and now CC asks to provide extension (png or jpg) too, I think.

Can you make it happen? It's not urgent though, please take all the time you need.

Make /data/system/users/0/keyguard_wallpaper into a symlink to a file in main memory writable by CC named with the right extension. I did this with my Afterglow 2 and it works well.

You can make symlinks with Android "adb". The attachment shows how I did it. You can also (apparently) make symlinks with "Root Explorer".

Interesting solution. Currently I use the Automagic app to automatically copy the standby cover saved by CC to /data/system/. Will look into this
