Do not search "comments"?
I've recently realized why my searched are returning so many obscure results that do not include the title, author, and series. That's because it's also searching the comment field. I went to the preferences to limit search to metadata and limited to: title, authors, tags, series, publisher. However, the search is still searching the comment fields.
What am I missing? |

You probably forgot to click the checkbox "Limit the searched metadata"

I did check the box to limit the search to metadata but I got it working now. Calibre needed a restart...
