Is it really any worse that any other Pocketbook with a Carta screen? I have a TouchLux and a TouchLux 3, and it looks like I'll be selling the "3", despite the better screen, because they're both slow, but the original TL has the audio/TTC option and then TL3 doesn't.

Yes. The Ultra is literally the worst premium ereader on the market.

The Aura is old tech now and the screen does not live up to the contrast or sharpness of current displays. However in its favour it is one of the smaller/lighter six inch lit devices, and it can sometimes be obtained for quite a low price.
