I'm not sure what the problem is. That is a "Kobo Touch", model number N905. For nearly all uses of it, that's all you need to know.
Or are you worried about the internals? There were three versions of the Touch. The first, the one you have, has fixed internal storage. The later two, model numbers N905B and N905C, have an internal micro SD card that can be changed. But, that is only of concern if you want to swap the card for some reason, or do something really bad to it and need to restore an image. You wont be able to do either with your Touch. |

This one has a Micro SD Card Slot Lower Left side. ALL 3 you mention seemed to been released the same time... from what I can find on the internet. Makes no since to me. So yes trying to figure out how old, too.

You have a "Kobo Touch". Unless you are planning to do something with it other than use it as an ereader, then you shouldn't worry about exactly which version it is.
If age is the concern, then the N905 was the first version. It would have been on sale starting in mid 2011 until sometime in 2012. |

Kobo recently had Kobo touch discounted to $50 getting rid of old stock. Now selling Kobo touch 2.
Kobo Touch N905B with removable internal uSD card was released about 1 year after original Kobo Touch and N905C was sold at least a year later. Kobo Touch has much faster page turn than earlier Kobo Wifi it replaced but still slower than tablets. All ereaders are more delicate than tablets because they are made lighter and thinner. Guard against drops, excess pressure on screen and twisting of the reader which can break thin glass substrate under eink screen damaging the eink layer. This causes frozen messed up image on the screen with angled defects. Best defence is to always be aware of how delicate ereaders are not expecting covers to do much to prevent damage. |

Filmo Mine does not have the B but does have the Slot. On Board Memory is about 1000 ebooks.

All three models had an external micro-SD slot, the difference is that the N905 model didn't have an internal micro-SD slot, the one you have to take the back off the device to access.

I don't drink Coffee Buy my Ice Cream ready made. But what does that have to do with an E-Reader??

Sorry for any confusion. Though you can put books about both on an ereader. I have an ice cream maker somewhere but it is cheaper to buy ice cream. |
