Did you order a cover with your KOBO ONE?

Just wondering if anyone ordered a cover with their new Kobo One?

I did not because I thought it was too pricey and want to see what's going to be offered.

Anyone else? Either ordered the cover or waiting for what may be coming?

I voted no. I planned to order it, but they were sold out. I have an old Oberon that may fit.

They're too pricey and boring looking. I have a padded slipcase for an iPad mini that might fit. I don't plan to take it out of the house anyway, so I can wait to see what 3rd party cases look like.

I also thought an iPad mini case would be worth a look.

No, I want to see it in action before I even buy it. Right now, the idea is to use the One at home, so it'll be coverless. Maybe later when there're aftermarket covers may I buy one.

I haven't even ordered the device yet but I've had a custom cover made for my by eKovers on etsy and it should be here any day. Just need to get my hands on the device now!

I will use one of my iPad mini covers which will work fine for me. Apart from the Aura cover (I mean the first Aura), all others kobo original cover have not worked well for me and I always ended up using something else. Plus the cover price is really prohibitive, for something that is not even pretty, but quite dull, imho.

mine will definitely be traveling with me to work and back and will need a cover but am doing a wait and see to find out what existing available covers would work and what new stuff shows up

Well, I haven't ordered the ONE yet, but probably *would* get the official cover. I bought the official cover for my Aura HD and couldn't have been more pleased! And it has continued to hold up well and look good. I'm a heavy reader, the Aura HD goes with me everywhere, the cover still looks very close to new! And that's with 3 cats resident....

Besides, I tried some non-official covers for the Aura HD, none came close to the real deal, and yes, that includes the ones that looked nearly identical. That sort fell WAY short, with a protruding magnet that fell under my thumb and cut into my skin while holding the reader. Plus it made LOUD clicks as the magnet contacted exposed metal upon closing. The unofficial knock off also had magnets that were too strong, making it difficult to easily open my e-reader. It ended up in the trash.

I did, however, say *probably*. As I'm not pre-ordering. Hoping to receive the ONE for my anniversary or Christmas. Which means I can wait and see what others think. And see what other non-official book-style covers might be offered.

I'm a bit unsure of how I'll feel about the folding stand aspect. I like a rigid cover, not a floppy one. But having a stand handy would nice, so I'm willing to be convinced.

Couldn't vote: I couldn't order a cover since none were available. I'll probably order the kobo one, but I'd like to be able to handle it first. Though I do need one before travelling on September 25, and hope they WILL be available soon.

Sounds interesting. I too have an original h2o cover got it half price from chapters. Held up good. But the aura one seems way to pricey for what it is.

I didn't order it. It costs too much: $50 for a device that's $220.
I always use one though, so I'll have to find something else, cheaper.
