Angry help with Kindle please

I have been experiencing some issues with Calibre. When plug in my kindle to add books usually a job starts but it isnt doing that. It is almost like it doesnt see my kindle. Does anyone have any suggestions?

According to that windows is not seeing your Kindle. Without that there is no way for calibre to see it.

When I connect my kindle my computer shows it as connected. Why would it not work with calibre.

I have a kindle fire 8 and have tried to put books on it from two different computers both the new update on them and neither of them works. I added books to my kindle just a month ago so it is just confusing.
Any ideas?

The Kobo reader issues seem to be with devices running the Windows Preview builds. At this point, it appears the issue may carry over to the Aug. 2nd Anniversary release.
