Now scroll through that list, paying attention to the "number viewing" entries.

Hint:
Guess where the site revenue is coming from.
The viewer count of this forum is often 1/2 or more of the total site viewers and this is just one forum in a VERY BIG site.

This is great news. Possibly spurred on by that unfortunate discussion which those who know about, know about? Anyway, it seems that rather than just fixing a one-time issue, it has prompted lasting change.
Communication is key, and too often it seems that we of the Kindle Developer's Corner are out of sync with others' expectations, prompting unfortunate misunderstandings.

This is all about how one person deals with the situation Rob finds himself in.

How can we move the Kindle Developers Corner from our parent Amazon Kindle forum to a child of the Feedback and/or Lounge forums? Can you do that for us? This is where we dwell, where we communicate in "hacker language", and where we feel comfortable. Few of us believe we would be accepted or tolerated (if not abused) in the forums y'all recommend. We are not like those folks and our tolerance for them usually only goes one way. Nerds have always been picked on. That is why we stay here in our comfortable corner of MobileRead. Thanks for your understanding.

I have much left to share here with my peers. Both technical and personal, often intertwingled in a post. That is how we think, how we communicate, and how we live. Please let us live.

Where did ALL my posts go? I put a LOT of work into those! I was totally respectful to all, not just my peers, but ANYBODY who visits here (though such visits are rare).

I am extremely anguished by that, I did not save them, and all my heart-felt work has now been lost unless a moderator can forward me a copy. I am literally crying again...

Thank you. I gave permission to share my words to let people know that their concerns are not being ignored. If this turns into an us vs them situation the effort is wasted before it starts.
