Query concerning calibre library upon moving to new OS

I am looking to do a clean install of a new OS (Win Vista to win 10) on my laptop. I will have to reinstall calibre once the new OS has been installed as all data would be lost. I will do a backup of calibre library and settings as described on the Calibre page. I wanted to know if the entries under various columns such as series, ratings, Reading Status etc (Which have been manually entered by me as names/notes/numbers to pick my favorites/club them under various categories) will be backed up as well and would show up when I reinstall calibre and import the backed up library into it.

Sorry but I needed to make sure as I know the library of my books will definitely be backed up. But I have a lot of books and I have put various entries under different columns to club them under groups. It will be impossible to identify and separate them if I lost those settings. Thank you in advance for any replies.

and you will migrate every single bit of calibre data.

I followed the instructions and as you said everything was migrated into the new calibre installed on Win 7. Thanks a lot for the reply and the process worked perfectly for me.
