PRS-T3: Write protected
Hi,
I have the following problem: When I connect my PRS-T3 while calibre is running, I often get the error message that my PRS-T3 is write protected. After I close and restart calibre while my PRS-T3 stays connected, everything is fine and I do not receive any error messages. This behaviour started some versions ago. Regards, McDummy |

Presumably your device is now taking longer to "settle" than the few seconds that calibre waits. Not much calibre can do about it, since increasing the wait time would mean making device connections slower for everybody. You'll just have to use your workaround.
