An actual read chapter marker bug in table of contents

1) Open this public domain book: https://wolnelektury.pl/media/book/epub/lalka.epub
2) If you select from Contents "Lalka, tom pierwszy" - an actual read chapter marker (red circle) is visible next to the chapter title
3) If you select "Tom I" the marker is invisible
4) If you select "I. Jak wygląda firma J. Mincel..." the marker is invisible
5) If you select "II. Rządy starego subiekta" - the marker is visible

I suppose the marker should be always visible.

I suppose the marker should be always visible.

Check that the code is valid. If the code is not valid, then it may not be Marvin's problem.

Then yes, it is a problem with Marvin.

The reason I mentioned checking the code is because many people put in a bug report when it's the problem of the book and not the program in question.

Another unexpected behavior - incorrect page counting in chapters.

1) Open free sample of ebook: https://virtualo.pl/virtualo_downloa...nload=1&sample
2) If you open a chapter "Część I. Pełnia władzy. Odsłona pierwsza..." Marvin for me shows 30 pages left in this section.
3) It is incorrect counting. Marvin ignores fact that there are subchapters defined in the main chapter.
4) It shows pages to the end of the book instead to a first subchapter "Wprowadzenie. Stybki rout oka na SLD". In my example it should show last page since the first subchapter begins right after the title of the chapter.

BTW. In this sample the bug with missing actual read chapter marker is also reproducible.
