File naming?

I am importing a collection pdf pdf newsletters / short books. I specifically renamed them all to group as required, but they import with names that seem only vaguely connected and include indd in the title!

See images 1 and two attached for the file list and the imported version.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

@goolie - All depends on the settings you have in Preferences->Add Books

Suggested Reading ==>> Add Books — calibre User Manual

Suggested Viewing ==>> Video Tutorials
