Kindle Paperwhite on sale for $20.00.
Amazon currently shows a price of $20.00 for a new, currrent-version Paperwhite. I ordered one and my total with Arizona sales tax and free Prime shipping is $21.67. I received email confirmation and the Paperwhite is scheduled for delivery on Monday.

This is a price mistake that will be cancelled or there's some other catch, but these things are selliing like crazy.

EDIT:

Amazon has modified the page and the price is now $99.99, which reflects $20.00 off. I'm waiting to get my cancellation email. Oh well.

Please let us know how it goes. I hope yours won't be cancelled and you will actually get it for just 20 dollars . Too bad no one took a screen shot of the sale before it was changed.

Incidentally, Best Buy has listed their Big Screen TV for just $9.99 - a savings of more than $1600 -- a couple of years ago. But they won't honor it. http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/08/13/bes...ake/index.html

Especially not when Amazon was under no obligation to honor the price mistake. They could have easily cancelled all orders at the mistaken price. Businesses do that all the time.

I ordered one for $20 & recd my confirmation email. That was last night about 10 minutes after the sale started. It was listed as a Mother's Day sale and was for the paper white with special offers only. An hour later they were advertising the basic kindle as a daily deal. Maybe it was just for that hour?
