Calibre Not Finding AZW files
I just downloaded several Kindle books via K4PC but Calibre doesn't recognize them. They are all AZW files. If I select "all files" they are visible but when I select "MOBI" they all disappear.
Just installed Calibre 2.58 |

I cannot replicate this. Choosing "MOBI Books" in the add books dialog shows azw/mobi/azw3/prc files, just like it always has.

I am restarting Calibre to see if that corrects the problem.

I am adding a few AZW files individually into Calibre to make sure they are actually ebooks. Today, I was forced to update K4PC

Edit #2: Unknown file type errors. Probably bad downloads from Amazon to K4PC. I thought it unusual that the files didn't automatically download. Last edited by Fbone; 06-09-2016 at 01:05 AM. |

Problem replicated.
It seems that Calibre doesn't find the AZWs in the Documents/MyKindleContent folder I used for Copy (since closed and deleted) but finds them in the original Documents folder. Apparently deleting Copy changes the behavior of the shortcut. |
