MOBI to MOBI Comic Problem

Hey all, I have a bunch of comics in mobi format and I edited all the metadata, but when converting from mobi to mobi to update the metadata, all content is deleted except for the cover page. It turns from a 30 page comic to a 2 page (The cover and a white page). Any ideas?

You don't need to convert to just update the metadata. Use polish books or update metadata for this. If you don't have these buttons on the toolbar, you just have to go into the options and enable them.

I tried doing that but you can't polish the mobi format

EDIT: Also just tried Embed metadata which also didn't work

Polish is only for AZW3 and EPUB, and does more than just metadata.

Embed Metadata works for all formats. But MOBI doesn't support updating a metadata cover, although it does support updating the title/author/etc.

Thank you all for the help, I'm a super noob with all this. How exactly do I use the Embed Metadata? I'm clicking it, but the metadata isn't updating... Again, thank you for the help and dealing with me haha

Have you checked in the file that it wasn't updated? Embed Metadata just does its thing and gives no completion message.
