Anxious for Nothing: God's Cures for the Cares in Your Soul by John MacArthur, Jr. is is another installment in his John MacArthur Study series of inspirational scriptural guidance and derived life advice, this installment the one dealing with de-stressing, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.
Currently free, probably just for the next couple of days @ B&N, Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), iTunes & Google Play (both available to Canadians), Kobo (not available to Canadians), ChristianBook (DRM-free ePub available to selected countries), and might also be free at other retailers listed on the publisher's webcatalogue page, and can be added to your library @ BookShout (online reading & in-app download) Description Stress has become part of our daily lives. We worry about our jobs, our relationships, and our families. And while there's no lack of remedies for anxiety, no solution seems to offer true peace of mind. John MacArthur, Jr. believes that peace is not only possible, it's a divine mandate. Drawing from a rich legacy of teaching and ministry, MacArthur puts aside cultural cures to uncover the source of our anxiety and stress. Based on solid Biblical insights, Anxious for Nothing shares how we can overcome uncertainty, defeat doubt, and be truly worry-free. This revised and updated edition includes a guide for both personal and group study and features discovery questions, suggestions for prayer, and activities, all designed to connect life-changing truths with everyday living. |

Good advice whether a person is a believer or not I'd say. Most people do worry too much about anything and everything in life these days.
