PRS-T1 frozen screen prs t1

Hi all just a quick query i bought a prs t1 a week ago and have been having problems with screen freezing when it goes to sleep have downloaded latest software but this evening got onto sony live chat who says he doesnt know wots wrong and i have to telephone america to get a work order and then ship to amerioca at my own cost to get replacement as sony only works that way .............. has anyone else had simular issues

What do you mean by the screen freezes when it goes to sleep? Does that mean you can't turn it back on when you press the power button?

have you updated to the lastest firmware? http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/PRS-T1/updates, the freezing has been sorted although im still getting issues with wifi when you have it on standby...

thanks guys seems it was a faulty reader so got it exchanged on problem today ............... cant wait to get reading ............. hope the next time i,m here i'll be raving about this item
