Orizon Reverse to firmware before 3.1

Hello,

I have a Bookeen Cybook Orizon.
I updated with the latest firmware 3.1.
I don't like the result.
The previous version of firmware is not available on Bookeen website.
Does anyone know where to find it ?
I already tried Bookeen support with no answer.

It is difficult because there are several problems.
1) The update script from Bookeen on your device is prohibiting downgrades.
2) Bookeen isn't spreading their firmware, so even if you root your device to have access to the update script, finding older firmware versions might be very difficult.

But if you and others are pestering Bookeen with this issue, maybe they will go softer on it.

Hello,

I am now searching to buy a new reader and it won't be a Bookeen (because of the impossible firmware downgrade, and desoldered micro-USB port).
Just in case someone from Bookeen is reading this.

Bookeen Cybook Orizon (micro-USB desoldered after 4.5 years of usage)

Not being able to downgrade firmware is not unique to Bookeen.
