Linux ebook server error "DOC Input.zip"
Hola to All!
I am trying to run the following linux terminal command: Code:
calibre-server -p 8181 --password=xxxxxxxx --username=nnnnnnn --with-library=/mnt/Data/'Calibre Libraries'/'Calibre Master Fiction' --daemonize Failed to initialize plugin: '/home/nnnnnnn/.config/calibre/plugins/DOC Input.zip' In any case, that plugin cannot be disabled or removed. The command does appear to work as I can log into the server via a browser normally. But just concerned something may not work right that I can't see when I login to the server. Should I just ignore it? Thanks! |

From a quick look at the PI section.
doc Input is a Windows program (wordconv.exe) dependent PI You might want to disable/remove the PI http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/gene...customize.html to prevent those error messages |

Quote:
i could not find it in Calibre to disable or remove, and none of the "Calibre-Customize" removal examples worked for me. So, simply renamed that plugin zip file in the Calibre install folder. I cannot recall ever having used any .doc input conversions, so doubt if I will miss it! Now the daemon starts properly w/o the error msg. |

Note also that the error message was harmless anyway.
If calibre fails to load the plugin, it just makes a note of the fact, ignores it, and marches on. ![]() |
