Test email not working
Hi all,
I was hoping someone could help me figure out why i can't even send a test email to myself, let alone an ebook. This is the error message from trying the test email: Quote:
I'm fairly certain the problem is within calibre because I can ping imap.gmail.com fine from my terminal and even connect to it via telnet. I'm using the most recent version of calibre and Mac OS X 10.8.5. Sorry for the late reply, but my firewall is off, I'm not running any anti-virus software, and the email isn't in my spam folder.
Appreciate the help so far, but anything else? |

@alextasd according to that debug log you have not followed the instructions in the link I posted. You are using a direct email connection, not connecting via gmail. So I suggest you read it once again, and follow it, this time a little more carefully.
