Switching Libraries

I have multiple Calibre libraries on my PC. When using CC and connecting via Content Server, is there a way to switch between libraries from my tablet? I don't have any problem with them all merging on my tablet, I just want to download a few books from one library and some from a second library.

Thanks and keep up the good work...........Jackie

Magic phrase
Command line interface Start one for EACH.Assign a different PORT for Each
Avoid the port assigned to the GUI version (eg 8080), just in case it gets started. (I don't ust that one as it follows which Library I am viewing)

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Calibre2\calibre-server.exe" --port 8083 --with-library C:\Users\ME\MainLib
"C:\Program Files\Calibre2\calibre-server.exe" --port 8082 --with-library C:\Users\Me\JuivLib

The replacement content server that Kovid is working on has multi-library support built in.

I don't know when he will be ready to release the new server, but I imagine that it isn't months and months. Parts of it are already available for test.

How will you adopt that to CC? Will CC be able to change the metadata on a running content server? on cloud connection?

CC already supports the new content server multi-library feature. You can change libraries without disconnecting and reconnecting.

Read/write metadata support isn't there yet, or at least I haven't noticed it. But even once it arrives, I am not sure trying to shoehorn it into CC will be the right approach. Instead the user can (probably) connect to the library using a web browser and change a book's metadata using the UI that Kovid will build. CC would see the changes immediately in the content server connection and, after sync time, in the cloud connection.

on cloud connection?
No.
