Hi. I would like to know if it is possible to make the .cbz format compatible with my device. Calibre manages my device via USB cable and can send only PDF, AZW3, EPUB and MOBI. However I have MoonReader+ installed which is able to read .cbz files. So is there a way to allow me to send my .cbz files through calibre to my device without converting them first?

um, it should work right off the bat? calibre does not care what format your stuff is in
I would suggest you're probably doing something incorrectly |

![]() I have included to a screenshot of me trying to send to the main memory of my devide. In the information panel you can see that the format for the manga is .cbz and I am now being asked to convert it. If I click no, the whole process stops and the manga doesn't get uploaded in its original format. The program wants to convert it to epub. So is there anyway around this? |

I think you might need to enable CBZ and CBR formats your device type in the Preferences > Plug-ins > Android Device Driver.

I don't usually PUSH from calibre
I usually use my device to PULL from calibre Ie turn content server on, and log into calibre from your device. |

Right click the device icon in calibre and choose configure this device.

Strange CBZ works perfectly fine straight away. You shouldn't have to do anything. I just load mine from GDrive and no problem as long i have suitable reader on my S4
