Email to @kindle.com failed
Hi,
After I "fetch news" I have auto email to me@kindle.com setup. Lately it continuously fails. This is the trace: " Sending failed... Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\email.py", line 43, in run File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\email.py", line 130, in sendmail File "site-packages\calibre\utils\smtp.py", line 116, in sendmail File "site-packages\calibre\utils\smtp.py", line 108, in sendmail_direct IOError: Failed to send mail: error(10060, 'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond') " Any ideas how to solve? A good place would be to ask in the calibre forum. Just to rule out a fault at Amazon's end, try to send the file by hand with your email client instead of through calibre.

timeout can just be from a lousy connection (location) Did it ever work reliably? From that region? Have you tried the FAQ items? http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq....-using-calibre |
