Amazon Phone App Problem
Every time I run the Clean Sweep [looks like a broom] App my Covers on my eBooks turn Dark Gray! It takes Several DAYS for them to come back. Now hear lately its doing the same to my Music & Audibles!

Not sure what Clean Sweep is, but assuming it's something like Clean Master perhaps it's erasing the cached covers the phone has stored. Maybe it has some setting where you can control more what it's deleting? I don't really know as I don't use apps like that at all so it's just an idea.

I use Clean Sweep, too. I didn't know it was causing my covers to be grayed out. Do you really think that is why they get grayed out?

Yep. They are there Before I run the App then Greyed Out After. The books been doing this for 2-3 months the Audibles just started last week. Annoying when I cant pick a book to read or listen to.

A similar app I use is Advanced Task Killer (green robot with blue x on front). It doesn't do nearly as much as Clean Sweep.

I DL & used Cheetah Cleaner [Blue broom with cat on it] ALL my Covers Returned!

Only thing is doesn't do Boost the Phone... ideas???

This is Not the 1st app that went crazy. I used the Weather App for 9 months then suddenly is stopped working! There were 2 games that worked for about 6 months then suddenly Stopped also.

I'm trying out the CCleaner app. It doesn't appear to affect the kindle book covers.

It seems to be a Tablet Boost Not a Phone Boost.... But yes I run it a couple times Covers stay. But How Long that is the question.
