^Agreed. My brother collected them. So much positive feedback and sound. Good grief the sound was terrible for those not doing the typing that were trapped in the vicinity though.

That was what was the basis of the APL terminal I used in high school; the IBM 2741. What a device!

Of course a few years later, I had a summer job with IP Sharp in Montreal and remember using a daisy-wheel based terminal; the fun of printing graphics on that device!

As I mentioned over in Vent -- pratically nobody has even heard of a "Basis 108", which was an Apple ][ emulator which also did CP/M. In fact, I had to add it myself to the Wikipedia page about "machine which ran CP/M". But I did find a picture online at an Apple ][ emulator page.
