Issues importing azw Manga

When I import a manga I bought from the Kindle store into Calibre, there seems to be issues with the image position and margins.

One page image would spill over to two pages.

Is there a setting I could adjust when importing azw manga into Calibre to prevent this from happening?

If your books are fixed layout KF8, then calibre has no support for them -- calibre in general does not support fixed layout books in either epub of azw3 form.

How can I tell if the book is using a fixed layout KF8?

I know of no way short of opening the file in the calibre editor and looking for fixed layout markup. Unfortunately, I dont keep up with fixed layout stuff, so I can't give you examples of what that markup would look like. If you google fixed layout epub you should get some examples.
