kobo glo hd - reading screen ? the top bar sometimes appears

its a bit of a nuisance actually sometimes on the kobo glo hd, when i say sometime probably every time i start to read

i open a book or pocket article, i get the top navigation bar showing which covers the text, i then i have to click back to home and re-open the article/book for the full reading screen

is there a reason the kobo glo hd does this?
is there a fix?

i am on the
latest firmware

thanks

Is it the same bars that pop up when you tap the centre of the screen while reading, or something different?

If it is the same then it might just be that you double-tapped when opening the book, and the second tap caused the menus to pop up after the book opened. If it is something different then I don't know, I haven't seen anything else like that happen.

And there is a bug that leaves the top bar displayed. It happens when going to an annotation from the annotations list, or using the search to navigate. There might be another way to trigger it, but opening and closing the menu bars is all that is needed to fix things.
