Aura HD Just got my first ereader!

Hey everyone I just got my first ereader its a Kobo Aura HD, I opened the box and plugged the USB Cable into it and the computer to charge it however I am a tad bit concerned and the Instruction Manual was vague.

I was expecting my computer to recognize a new device has been connected and install some kind of driver or whatever or something to happen on the ereader screen.

I looked it up on Kobos site and the wording they used made it sound like it wont boot up to be able to set it up until it fully charges.

So is plugging it in and nothing visually happening normal?

UPDATE: Turns out I just needed to reset it, up and running!

Congratulations on the new reader.
Now from an old reader to a new reader, I recommend using a wall plug to charge not the computer.

PS: I sometimes have trouble getting devices to read on my computer. I just unplug and replug.
