Request to make n add Outlook Money n Outlook Business recipes in calibre news source

Outlook money and outlook business are two respected business magazines from India. These magazines donot provide rss feeds on their website and so i am unable to create a custom recipe.

I am very interested in reading articles from these magazine and sure there are many who would like it on reading it. But there is one problem, i donot have the skills to make a recipe for these magazines.

Earlier i asked on bugs.launchpad.net website for these recipes, where i was asked to post the request for recipes here.

I would be kind of you, if anyone can make these recipes which may be useful for many in future.

Thank you.

Please

Thumbs up Links to the website of these magazines.

What could i say i am on a learning curve. I am suppose to provide the links to the website before i ask for a recipe of a news source.

These are the links for the websites:

Outlook Money

http://www.outlookmoney.com/

and

Outlook Business

http://www.outlookbusiness.com/.

These sites donot provide the rss feeds and these magazines are published once in a month. Though we could visit the site and read full articles on it without any restrictions, they have not provided for any RSS feeds.

Let me know if i am missing something here.

For the first one there is a rss feed available:
http://www.outlookmoney.com/rssfeed

If you put the links in a own custom recipe it will give you a nicely news. See pictures below. If you put the entries in the same way, you can complete your first own recipe.

The second one is a news with beta status. Maybe you first ask the provider for a correct rss link. On the bottom of the page right there is a rss icon but the link show to a wrong place.

Oops I missed it.

Thank you very much for your efforts.

I followed your steps and use those helpful images to make the custom recipe. It works wonderfully for the first one. Though not all the articles are covered and few sections from the actual magzine is missing in the RSS feeds.

It would have been better to get rss feeds from home section of outlook money but the magazine provider has not provided a RSS link to the section.

But, it serves the purpose to some extent. Something is better than nothing.

For the second one, Outlook business, I tried to edit the link from the outlook money RSS feeds by inserting Business in place of money in the rss link and it showed beta stage. May be i have to wait for RSS feeds of outlook Business.

I dont think they will put RSS feeds soon.

Till then, any idea how i can scrape articles from the website before they put out their RSS feeds, if at all. Some pointers or tips i should consider before i attempt to scrape articles from the webpage or website.

Thanks to you.
