Smile Newbie into true crime and thrillers.
Hi,
I'm a newcomer to this forum so I'm not sure how it works. I'm an avid reader. It used to be of literary fiction. Now it's true crime and thrillers. I got heavily into Nordic Noir. TV series, books. Before that it was books by criminal profilers.
The way criminals think intrigues me. I'm talking about the psychopaths, not the low level criminals. It's so different to the way I think. It's narcissism at its most extreme. Having dealt with a few narcissists in my life—haven't we all?—I was determined never to be involved with one again. But to do that required knowing where my blind spots had been.
Anyway enough for now. I'm excited to find out what other like-minded readers have been reading.
