Jeff was about to ask Michael more about his work when the two of them reached the courts. The two of them separated and Jeff made the first serve. The ball flew off towards Mike. Mike managed to repel the ball and swing it back at Jeff. Jeff never saw it coming. The ball bounced on the court and off to the grassy area behind Jeff.
“Whoa! Great return! Looks like I’m up against a pro!” Jeff said.
“I’ve been doing a lot of practice!” Michael said.
“Let me just get the ball.” Jeff said.
He chased after the ball. He thought it disappeared under a small hedge of bushes. Jeff followed the ball to the hedges.
“I’ve got this ball. You just swung it way off to the-“
Jeff found the ball under the hedge but he found something more. Something he never expected to see. Two corpses.
Jeff stared down in horror at the two corpses lying behind the hedge. It was the mangled bodies of Finney and Shelly Davidson. They were bloodied and mangled and the expressions on their faces were forever framed in horror.
Jeff fought the urge to vomit but could not fight the urge to cry out in shock and recoil in horror.
“Oh my God!” he said.

"Methinks thou need'st an Editor," he said, as he repelled the ball down the cliff and next to the two corpses.
